The Nevada-California-Oregon Ry. arrived in Lakeview in 1912 from
Reno, Nevada & a branch to Portola, California, on the Feather River.
This depot cost 15,000.00. The line was narrow gauge until
1927 when its new owner the Southern Pacific Co.
converted it to standard gauge.
The card is postmarked January 12, 1915, & says the view is looking east.
